GEO stands for Generative Engine Optimization. It is the practice of making sure your brand appears in answers generated by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini. As more people use AI to make buying decisions, being cited in those answers is replacing traditional search rankings as a core distribution channel.
